Jinsoo Lee was born in seoul .
he is a fashion & beauty photographer based in seoul and Tokyo.he has worked with global cosmetic brands ,fashion magazines and countless celebrities and stars . he began his photography career in 1992 with BFA degree at the art college of Chung-Ang univ. At the age of twenty-eight Jinsoo Lee opened his own studio in Seoul where he focused primarily on beauty and fashion photography.
In 2004 he extended his field to even Tokyo shortly after contracting with Japanese fashion artist agency BravoBrava . Mr Shu Uemura – a Marlyn Monro’s legendary japanese make-up artist and founder of Shu uemura cosmetic brand -cited that Jinsoo Lee is a magician while shooting with Jinsoo Lee for ELLE magazine in Tokyo. Jinsoo Lee is considered one of the talented artists who can express women’s beauty in his own aethetic sense.
Today , In addition to his stunning photographic career, his works have been expanded to even filmmaking after taking a filmmaking course in New york film academy. he made his own short film which is ‘The Lost scent in D minor (starring :Matilda Lutz,Jessica Ries )in 2011.
Jinsoo Lee writes, directs, shoots and composes and edits his film and music by himself.
he strongly emphasizes he is not a just photographer ,but a multigrapher.
Music , photography and filmmaking are all the same graphs which artist has to manupulate them with his own tool.
he believes a variety of graphs as photograph, musical graph and cinematograph have to be communicated with the world.
he seems to be filled with artistic sense and inspiration.
Currently he has been devoting to fashion film, advertising photography, fashion magazine editorial, and fine art photography.
